In 1999 Arsenal (Hendrik Willemyns and John Roan) released their first EP 'Release'. A few cool compilations later (Café del Mar...) followed 'A volta', that hit the dancefloor and was compiled worldwide onto various compilations (MTV's chill out, "Jazz in the house", "Brasilified" with Jazzanova, Trüby Trio, etc.). Their first full-album 'Oyebo soul' is not strictly focused on dancing music, it's a symbiosis of Afro and Brazilian vibes, house, some hip hop and rock. It's a musical melting pot from Africa, the Latin world and Europe, and the spirit of the album is generously spiced up by the cultural influences of various artists, such as producer Ray Mang (Groove Armada), who contributed to the making of it. Their music is an explosive cocktail that guarantees both listening and dancing pleasure.
