Stijn plays with machines but uses no samples and steers clear of electroclichés, laptopisms or playbackery: all songs are quite simple and are being played live from A to Z. Musically he's beyond genres. That's why he also covers and transforms other people's songs when he plays live. Electronica is a set of tools rather than a genre.
Both Stijn's extravert yet funkily spontaneous stage act and his honest-but-passionate compositions rely heavily on his experiences as an actor.
