DJ 4T4 has been doing many different projects in as many different styles and can be labelled founder of the group and its form. Ultrasonic 7 is the name used for the poppier dance productions, which will often have a certain 70's or 80's retro-feel to it. U7 aspires to be a modern-day funk and soul band. Whatever their influences may be, the underlying intention remains to create feel good music. There's also a tendency to get inspiration from old science fiction, fantasy and horror movies. Apart from 4T4 the group consists of Uwe (electronics), Tom (vocals), Yves Fernandez (trumpet) and Nia (she collaborates with Youssou N'Dour and is a member of Zap Mama, with whom she unfortunately will be on tour these days).
